Using Traffic Exchanges for FREE Traffic

Traffic exchanges have been around since the late 1990's and most dominantly became popular in the early 2000's to help webmasters and online business owners exchange traffic with one another.
Since then, traffic exchanges have continued to exist and have continued to allow their members to share traffic to one another, but just because traffic is still being exchanged doesn't mean that the same principle is still being applied.

Have you ever used a traffic exchange? If so, have you tried back in the olden days or have you tried more recently? I used to use traffic exchanges back when I first started developing my first websites back in 2000 and 2001. I stopped using traffic exchanges after focusing more into my sites and getting off of Yahoo! Geocities, but more recently I decided to give traffic exchanges another look and try to see if traffic exchanges are still as beneficial as they once were.

I am currently over a week in on more than a 30 day journey of surfing traffic exchanges and figuring out how to utilize the traffic efficiently. I will be finishing by April and posting the results in my link building SEO traffic forum. I have done a lot over the past two plus weeks within traffic exchanges that I think you should read if you're interested in what traffic exchanges are and what they deliver in terms of traffic today and what you can expect.
